Yeah...
Alright, so, it's been getting close to a year since I've updated this journal. How pathetic, since this is the only thing I update to let people know how I'm doing. Blogging is not my thing.
First off. It's been a very long time since I've updated with art, but that will soon change after this journal is posted. Both pieces that I will upload are commissions that I received back in March on Gaia... I have been hooooooribbly procrastinating. One image was 80% complete throughout the summer, the other I didn't even start on until yesterday before I went to bed.
In May/June I went to A-kon and had a blast. I took over 130 pictures but I have yet to finish editing them. Procrastination? Yes, I do believe.
During the summer, I went to the Tulsa zoo with some friends and took many pictures as well. I've looked through what I took, found out more than half were horrible and have yet to take the remaining pictures off my camera and edit. Those that darned procrastination again.
I have been working at RZ's, the coffee shop all summer. The midshift from 9 am to 3:30 pm. It's been well... somewhat. I get to work with Paul, which is awesome, and my other co-worker Patrick. I discovered that he also likes anime and gaming so it gives us something to talk about. Oh, an the fact that he has lived off of 2 hours of sleep each night for practically his entire life... Downside to working at RZ's, I have been feeling worse and worse and have become more grumpy throughout the summer. I dont' know what it is, but I just haven't been my happy cheerful self during the summer. Thank goodness my boss is allowing me to take next week off before school starts and I have to go back to my Peabody Perks coffee shop. A week to relax and do some shopping sounds nice.
Eric and I have searched for a new bed as well as a frame with a headboard and footboard, however, we have yet to get it though we have the money saved up. Procrastination has sneaked up upon me again.
I did get some new glasses about a month or so ago... however, I need to go to the eye doctor again Monday so I can have them check my glasses and adjust them. I have the half wire frames. The bottom of the lenses are not supported by a wire frame but from that nylon fishing thread stuff. However, during the cutting of the lenses apparently there was a small chip that went unnoticed and now there is a visible small crack on the bottom of the lens. It worries me.
My mom's birthday passed a few days ago, and due to a vehicle that hardly anyone trusts, I did not see her and give her the gift. That's for next week. By the way, she has miniature horses. One recently had a baby and another one is pregnant. When she bought/received the miniatures, both were already pregnant, there are no males as of now. And if there eventually is, he will be sold.
I am very tired, it is 2:45am, and it's time for bed... after I post art.
G'night.

Fear is a byproduct of ignorance. Respect is a result of knowledge. Power is the utilization of both for one's own ends.
From raw power some chaos. From control of chaos comes true power.
